Love, Peace & Hairgrease: The Musical
I worked as a graphic designer and senior prop designer for this production. Love, Peace, & Hairgrease is a stage musical co-produced by Eastern Front Theatre and Charles Taylor Theatre. It is a dramedy series about love and transformation, set in two Black-owned hair salons in small-town Canada.

The visual assets created include:
a custom illustration to be used in marketing material
a mock product logo for promotional purposes/ prop use

Pitch Deck Materials
The Creative Producer is planning on developing an animated version of the stage play, and wanted an illustrated promotional poster to go along with the pitch deck.
She requested a simple style illustration that would suit an animated series.

Aside from the graphic design work, I also had the opportunity to design and create production props with middle & high school youth. Working with creative young minds from marginalized communities is so refreshing to experience; especially when career paths in the creative industry aren’t usually seen as lucrative.
